Food for thought for the organizationally challenged.
Seriously! Why do we deep clean our homes right before we open the windows and prepare to spend as much time outdoors as possible? To me, spring cleaning is about the flower beds, the mudroom/entryway, the garage, and of course, the seasonal turnover!
Don't get me wrong, I love the idea of dedicating a season to deep-cleaning our homes, but raise your hand, if truth be told, you never deep-clean your home. And that's ok. I would rather spend 10 extra hours organizing someone else's home and then pay someone else to deep clean my home. I just spent my Sunday morning organizing my basement, even though I know my baseboards need a good wipe down.
What I'm getting at here, is, know yourself. Respect yourself enough to know exactly what you are able to accomplish and what you will forever procrastinate. Live your life at your pace, take all the Influencers with a grain of salt, and remember, they spring-clean for a living. Literally, they make money by extensively posting about their spring cleaning agendas. Martha Stewart sells a magazine dedicated to this! And don't get me wrong, I LOVE reading that magazine.

I can't believe I never thought to organize my spices in this way...game changer! And didn't even need to spend money on a fancy spice organizer. Thanks for the great tips and inspiration!
